This policy explains how Half Past (Osam Abdulqadar, trading as Half Past, a Deenar Group company; Deenar Group, 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB) collects and uses your personal information, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. What we collect

Your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give it), order details, and technical information such as your IP address and browser. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.

How we use it, and why

  • To make, deliver and support your order, and handle returns (to perform our contract with you)
  • To reply to your messages (contract or legitimate interests)
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interests)
  • To send marketing emails, only if you have agreed; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent)
  • To keep records the law requires, such as accounts (legal obligation)

Who we share it with

Only what is needed, with: Shopify (our shop platform), our payment provider, Gelato (our production partner, which makes and ships your order and receives your name, delivery address and order details), delivery companies, and authorities where the law requires. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, with legal safeguards in place. We never sell your data.

Cookies

Our shop platform, Shopify, sets cookies the shop needs to work, such as keeping items in your basket, and may also set cookies that give us basic shop statistics. Where cookies are not strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first. We do not use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
